1/2 lb - cabbage chopped 1 cup - fresh coconut 1 handful- tamarind flakes(soak few minutes in water) 8 - green chilles chopped 1 - pod garlic
Heat oil in pan, put some jeera and add the chopped cabbage and cook for 15 mins on med. Now add salt and a pinch of turmeric powder. First grind the coconut, tamarind,green chilles and garlic and then add the cooked cabbage.(if u grind the cabbage first it becomes a paste and the other ingredients dont , so first grind the other ingredients and then add the cabbage n grind them together) Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, jeera, chanadal, red chilles and curry leaves and put the whole into the cabbage paste.
